3. Governing authority

Haddon Institute Style uses the footnote–bibliography system. Kate L. Turabian et al. outline that system in A Manual for Writers of Research Papers, Theses, and Dissertations, 9th edition (hereafter “Turabian”).

Where this guide is silent, students must obey Turabian 9th edition. Where this guide specifies a different practice, the Haddon Institute specification takes precedence.
