1. Purpose and scope

The Haddon Institute Citation Guide sets out the required referencing and citation standards. These standards apply to all undergraduate and postgraduate coursework at Haddon Institute. The guide is for theological and biblical studies. Footnote-based citation is the standard in these fields. Writers often use sources such as Scripture, confessions, creeds, classical theological works, sermons, and lectures.
