Fees
This page covers what you pay, when it is due and what happens if a payment is late. The rules are set out in the Payment Plans Policy.
Tuition and Trimester Admin Fees
Tuition fees are charged for each course you take. The amount depends on your program.
Haddon Institute also charges a Trimester Admin Fee for each trimester you study. It covers access to Populi, the Learning Management System where you find course materials, resources and study tools, and the administrative services that support your studies.
Invoices and due dates
After you register for courses, your invoice appears in Populi under My Profile > Financial. Pay it in full, or have an approved payment plan in place, by 11:59 pm AEST, 7 days before the trimester starts. Each invoice shows its due date. See Fees due date in the policy.

Overdue fees
An invoice or instalment not paid on time is overdue. Once it is 7 days overdue, access to Populi and course content is restricted until the amount is paid or a payment plan is approved. See Overdue fees in the policy for the full rules.
If you are falling behind:
- Email accounts@haddoninstitute.org as soon as possible.
- Pay the overdue amount in Populi, or ask Haddon Accounts about a payment plan.
- If you are in financial difficulty, see Financial hardship.
Refunds
If you withdraw from a course, any refund follows the Tuition Refunds Policy. To withdraw, follow the Course Withdrawal Policy.
